Mission Statement Murray County E911 Center strives to provide the most reliable and effective communications for the service and protection of emergency responders as well as the citizens of Murray County. |

History Murray County's E9111 System began in February 1993. The Center was responsible for receiving and dispatching calls for Murray County, Chatsworth, Eton Fire Departments, Georgia Forestry and Murray County EMS. In August 2000, Murray County E911 services expanded to include Murray County Sheriffs Department, Chatsworth Police Department and Eton Police Department. We have 16 full time communications officers (dispatchers) and 3 part time communications officers. Communications officers work 12 hour rotating shifts. |
